Maintaining a Generator in Pakistan
With increasing load shedding in Pakistan thanks to the bankrupt WAPDA & KESC, we as students are hit the most. Many Pakistanis have already installed UPS systems but consecutive blackouts ranging from 2-3 hours limits UPS charging duration. Most have now opted using generators but generators needs high on-time maintenance with highest emphasis on make-up oil & oil replacement periods. I have constructed a table layout that hopefully quantify when you need to add & or replace oil.

Remember only use Havoline or any premium quality oil, never use local oil, their viscosity immensely degrades especially in summers
